¡23! movidas fueron calcadas de una partida de Karpov que yo sabía de casualidad (no es que supiera mucha teoría). Apenas tuve que jugar solo, me hizo polvo en 5 movidas.
Caissa a veces es caprichosa: no depende de ninguna modalidad en particular que pasen esas cosas.

El libro que trata de aperturas se llama Minor Táctics, está en inglés (no hallé traducción) y es dominio público (del 1900 aproximadamente). Analiza las partidas de Blackburne, Morphy, Weiss, entre otros clásicos.
Aunque no lo creáis, es posible jugar las aperturas guiándose por principios generales, sin necesidad ninguna de bases de datos. De hecho Paul Morphy llegó a una alta perfección si tenemos en cuenta afirmaciones como la de Mihail Botvinnik "en las aperturas abiertas Morphy ya lo ha dicho todo" , frase que con la que se excusaba por renunciar totalmente a la primera jugada 1.e4.
Con ello no quiero oponerme totalmente a los usuarios de bases , que es lo mismo que usar software pues lo segundo gestiona lo primero. Creo que lo principal no es tanto ser completamente honesto con lo que aquí se dice y luego se hace. Para mi lo mas importante es ser consecuente con nuestros actos.
Si hay quien le guste que jugando a ajedrez con un amigo (con tablero palpable), o bien en un torneo, se le siente un "sabelotodo" al lado y le dicte las jugadas que debería hacer, entonces seguramente también en esta modalidad obtendrá las jugadas que le dicten de algún sitio u otro sin dedicarse a meditar demasiado.
Los que detestamos que nos dicten las jugadas mientras jugamos, no digo que algún día excepcional cometamos el delito de mirar un libro o programa con el juego sin concluir, pero nos daremos cuenta de que no es lo apropiado.

For our purposes, the term cheating refers to an attempt to gain an advantage in violation of Premium Chess online arena regulations.

detects in real time any suspicious event during a game;

Each new full member is initially assigned one black star. If there is no infraction of the anti-cheating rules, the star progressively changes colour as the number of games increases; first blue, then green, silver and gold if. A second star is then added, which progressively changes colour in the same way as the first. This process is repeated until a player is awarded the maximum rating of 5 gold stars.
